2. Create your master password
Use a long and unique phrase. It protects access to the local vault.
3. Add credentials
Save login, password, site, notes, TOTP and any other needed fields.
4. Back up
Keep encrypted backups in a safe place. Do not rely on a single copy.
Practical recommendations
- Do not reuse the master password on other services.
- Keep Windows updated.
- Check the GitHub release before installing important updates.
- Store backups on trusted and protected media.
- Lock the app when you step away from the computer.
